During today's class, we went over experiment 1.1, covered pages 1-7 of the text & answered OYO 1.1-1.2. The topic was Atoms & Molecules.
Experiment:
Experiment 1.1 Atoms & Molecules:
"Atoms & molecules make up everything that surrounds us. Individually, they are simply to small to see. However, you can distinguish between different kinds of atoms and different kinds of molecules by examining the substances that they make up, as well as how those substances change. In this experiment, we will observe molecules changing into atoms and atoms changing into molecules. By observing these changes, you will learn the difference between atoms & molecules." (p.2)
Homework:
This module is covering the basics of physical science.
- Friday - p8-14, OYO 1.3-1.5
- Monday - p14-18, experiment 1.2 & lab report
- (the aim of assigning this experiment is to observe how you can complete an experiment by yourself as well as write the lab report)
- Tuesday - p18-21
- Wednesday - Study Guide p25
General Notes:
I am going to write up the first lab report and post it on the blog so you can see a properly written report. Then, beginning next week you will begin to write up your own reports.
Remember: your work is to be done correctly, neatly, and with excellence. take the time to read your material and to answer the questions. If you have questions, let me know.
Reminder: Don't forget a clipboard for class next week.

Thank ya! I find this font a little difficult to read. As with the one in the One Year Adventure blog too.
