We went over experiment 6.3 and the last pages of the module, answering the last OYO.

Experiment 6.3

"A hard-boiled egg can be used to model the idea of plate tectonics. The shell represents the crust of the earth, while the rubbery egg white represents the plastic rock of the mantle. IF you cut out a 'plate' on the egg and move it around, you will get an idea of what plate tectonics is all about." p144
